SNL Season 50 Alumni Draft

In this special draft podcast, host Jon Schneider of the Saturday Night Network invites fellow commentators Rachel Chang, Andrew Haynes, Sammy Kay, Bill Kenney, Amanda Mitchell, TJ Randolph, and Kirstin Rajala to draft former SNL cast members based on their potential appearances in Season 50. Each team drafted five cast members based on the following criteria:

– 1 point for appearing on the SNL50 February special
– 2 points for appearing in an SNL season 50 episode
– 3 points for hosting a Season 50 episode

Meet your panelists:

Jon Schneider is the main host of the Saturday Night Network. Jon has seen every episode of Saturday Night Live going back to 1975 and loves discussing how new episodes affect the legacy of the show. His favorite SNL cast member of all time is Will Forte.

Rachel Chang is a travel & pop culture journalist that regularly attends live tapings of Saturday Night Live. She joined the Saturday Night Network as a regular panelist in 2024.

Andrew Haynes is a long-time SNL fan that has been podcasting about the show since the inception of the Saturday Night Network in 2020.

Sammy Kay is the host of the Saturday Night Network’s Superfan Takeovers. He has been a regular panelist and producer with the Saturday Night Network since 2020. His Bar Mitzvah theme was “Sammy Night Live.”

Bill Kenney has an incredible 38-year streak of never missing an SNL episode. He has been podcasting with the Saturday Night Network since 2020.

Amanda Mitchell is a beauty and pop-culture journalist. She has been a regular panelist with the Saturday Night Network since 2021.

TJ Randolph is an analyst who has been podcasting with the Saturday Night Network since 2021. He is one of the most requested SNL panelists on the Saturday Night Network, often sharing his huge passion for podcasting, video games, pop culture, and dance.

Kirstin Rajala is an SNL historian who has been podcasting with the Saturday Night Network since 2022. She is an experience designer with a keen eye for analyzing sketches and noticing details that others wouldn’t.
