Weekly Ratings: Colbert Outdraws Fallon and Kimmel Combined

Note: LateNighter generally posts late night live-plus-three weekly ratings on a three (business) day delay, which is how they are released by Nielsen.

With both Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel on vacation the week of February 16, 2025, Stephen Colbert had the 11:35pm hour all to himself—and he reaped the rewards.

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert drew a nightly average of 2,396,000 million total viewers, which was more than repeats of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live! drew combined. Compared to the week prior (when Colbert was in repeats and Kimmel and Fallon split the spoils), Colbert’s ratings were up a whopping 82% among total viewers and 88% among viewers agred 18-49.

It was a split victory at 12:37am last week, with both ABC and CBS siphoning viewers from NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, which aired repeats on the first week of a two-week break. Nightline took the top prize among total viewers, while After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson (which aired repeats both Monday and Friday) winning in the demo.

Over on cable, Fox News’ Gutfeld! keeps on keeping on, continuing to draw the largest total audience among all of the shows we track (by more than a million viewers) and the second-highest share, behind The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

It was also an up week for Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, although the Bravo show only aired one (relatively high-rated) episode Sunday before taking the rest of the week off.

The Daily Show was also on break, with no new episodes or repeats airing all week.
