The Pete Davidson Show Weekly ‘Podcast’ Sets Netflix Premiere

Pete Davidson is entering the increasingly crowded podcast space.

Netflix has announced that The Pete Davidson Show—”a new video podcast”—will premiere Friday, January 30.

In episodes that drop weekly on Netflix, The Pete Davidson Show will find the Saturday Night Live vet “sitting down with his famous friends for revealing conversations from the comfort of his garage.”

As Davidson remarked to Netflix’s Tudum, the garage is “where all the best conversations happen,” though he also will sometimes take his new show on the road.

“It’s me and my friends talking about anything and everything,” he told Tudum. “It’s going to be a great time.”

The video podcast-not-a-talk show will stream exclusively on Netflix; no audio-only version will be available.

Davidson’s history with Netflix dates back to February 2020, when the streamer was home to his comedy special Pete Davidson: Alive From New York. In June 2022—weeks after the conclusion of his eight-season SNL run—he hosted and curated Pete Davidson Presents: The Best Friends, as part of the annual Netflix Is a Joke Fest.

The Netflix stand-up special Pete Davidson: Turbo Fonzarelli followed in 2024.

Above Average—a New York-based comedy production company founded in 2012 by Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video—will produce the video podcast, while Sarah Brennan Kolb (Pete Davidson: Turbo Fonzarelli) will direct.
