First on LateNighter: Andrew Dismukes’ summer away from Saturday Night Live is already an eventful one. The SNL performer tied the knot with fellow comedian Aly Dixon this weekend.
The pair married surrounded by the Santa Monica Mountains at the picturesque Villa Di Rocca in Los Angeles. “No offense we just got married,” Dixon captioned a photo of her husband on Instagram.
Dismukes also celebrated the nuptials alongside some SNL castmates as well. In photos posted to Bowen Yang’s Instagram, Yang poses with fellow SNL player Ego Nwodim.
Dixon first announced their engagement back in August 2023, sharing photos of Dismukes’ beachside proposal and recounting how she had caught on to the surprise.
“If you know me you probably know how hard it was for Andrew to convince me to ‘get dressed up to go to the beach’ without fully ruining his surprise,” she wrote. “And then when he ‘set his phone up to take nice pics’ i did start immediately hitting him and saying ‘you’re so dumb what are you doing!!!!’”
Dixon later shared the couple’s engagement photos as she counted down to the big day. She was also recently pictured with Dismukes on the red carpet for SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.
Dismukes and Dixon began dating in 2016, a year before he first joined SNL as a writer. “She’s my best friend, the love of my life, the funniest person I know, and a next-level-hot-lady,” Dismukes wrote in one previous anniversary tribute, calling their relationship “the best thing to have happened to my whole entire life.”
Dismukes joined the SNL cast for Season 46. He just completed his fifth season on the legendary sketch show.
