SNL Writers, Cast to Take Improv Show on the Road Again

Saturday Night Live staff writer Ceara O’Sullivan is taking her live comedy show, Improv With My Friends From Work, back on tour this spring/summer.

O’Sullivan announced the encore run, along with a half dozen destinations/dates, Monday morning via Instagram.

Improv With My Friends From Work Summer Tour 2026 will feature O’Sullivan and fellow SNL scribes Jake Nordwind, Jimmy Fowlie, Carl Tart, and Asha Ward; current cast members Chloe Fineman and Ben Marshall; and Season 49 alum Chloe Troast.

The long-form improv show has been a monthly occurrence at New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, with O’Sullivan performing alongside a rotating lineup of cast members and writers from SNL. “We might read rejected sketches, we’ll definitely do improv, and at least half of us will be drinking on stage,” reads the show’s official description.

O’Sullivan joined the SNL writing staff in Season 48. She and Fowlie, most famous for penning the “Domingo” sketches, also co-wrote the 2025 Netflix comedy Roommates, which co-stars SNL player Sarah Sherman. O’Sullivan also co-hosts the Webby-nominated true crime-centric comedy podcast Petty Crimes.
