Kelsey, he’s here! Funko just unveiled a special new addition to its SNL 50 Pop! collection: Domingo.
Modeled after Marcello Hernández’s suave character from the viral Saturday Night Live sketch, the Domingo Pop! features an unusual feature—a physical “Direct from Domingo” speech bubble. The figure stands approximately 4.6 inches tall. Fans can pre-order the Domingo Funko Pop starting today.
An exact shipping date wasn’t known at press time, so it may not be ready in time for your holiday gifting. But it’s a fast turnaround for the design, building on the character’s quick success.
The SNL 50 Funko Pop! collection—first announced in September—also includes iconic sketch characters Nick the Lounge Singer, Mary Katherine Gallagher, Herb Welch, Matt Foley, Ms. Rafferty, Debbie Downer, Gilly, GuapLord, Mango, The Californians’ Stuart, and SmokeCheddaThaAssGetta.
The character of Domingo first appeared in the Oct. 12 sketch “Bridesmaid Speech.” It starred host Ariana Grande along with SNL cast members Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Sarah Sherman, who join to sing a deeply off-key riff on Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso”—also revealing that bride Kelsey cheated on her new husband with Domingo.
“Bridesmaid Speech” currently sits at 35 million views on TikTok and 13 million on YouTube. A sequel, “Babymoon,” (a play on Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO!”) aired during the Nov. 14 episode hosted by Charli XCX.
Domingo has quickly become a pop culture staple. Hernández has been pushed to incorporate the character into his stand-up act by fans, and he even made a surprise appearance at Sabrina Carpenter’s Los Angeles concert in November—including a flirty backstage photo shoot with the singer.
The Domingo Pop! is available for pre-order on the official Funko site now, with other stores likely to offer the figure down the road.
