SNL-Branded Pop-Up Shops Coming to Saks Fifth Avenue

Saturday Night Live merch is going upscale thanks to a new partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue.

The luxury retailer based just a block away from SNL‘s home at 30 Rock is helping celebrate the legendary sketch show’s 50th anniversary with a collab that includes exclusive SNL-inspired merchandise and limited time pop-up stores at Saks locations in New York and Los Angeles.

Among the items already for sale in a dedicated section of the store’s website are branded sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags, hats, jeans and a jean jacket, with select styles featuring archival imagery from the last five decades of the show. Prices range from from $48 to $298.

The retailer’s New York pop-up shop is set to open January 10 on the fifth floor of its flagship store, while its L.A. pop-up opens January 23rd at Saks Fifth Avenue’s women’s store on Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Both shops will be open for a month.

A company press release notes that SNL has a long-standing relationship with the retailer, with two of the show’s current cast members, Bowen Yang and Chloe Fineman, serving as brand ambassadors for the Saks Social Club.

Saks even plays a small part in the show’s Season 50 title sequence, with “Weekend Update” co-anchor Colin Jost posing in a window of the store’s flagship Fifth Avenue store.

SNL returns with the back half of its second season January 18th. The show is set to officially celebreate its 50th anniversary with a three-hour primetime special on NBC Sunday February 16th.
