Couple turned collaborators Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco will usher in the release of their joint album with an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon next week.
Gomez and Blanco will sit down with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, March 20. By the time their appearance airs that night, their new record (due out March 21) should be hitting shelves and streaming sites.
The pair announced the album, titled I Said I Love You First, just last month. The project is described as an exploration of Gomez’ love story with the record producer, covering “before they met, falling in love and looking to what the future holds.”
Gomez and Blanco began dating in mid-2023 and announced their engagement this past December. The upcoming record is their first full-length project together, and their guest spot on Fallon marks their late-night debut as a couple. (It will also be Gomez’ sixth visit to overall to Fallon’s Tonight, and Blanco’s second.)
Just yesterday, Gomez announced the duo’s next single, “Sunset Blvd,” is due out tomorrow.
For their Tonight Show appearance, however, Gomez and Blanco will be sitting for an interview rather than performing. Fallon’s other guests next Thursday will be actress Elizabeth Olsen and musical guest Bob Mould. (The latter was last seen in late-night helping bid farewell to The 8G Band on Late Night with Seth Meyers last year.)
