Another week, another unique configuration of Daily Show hosts and guests.
Comedy Central has just announced that Ronny Chieng and Desi Lydic will co-host The Daily Show later this week, picking up where Jon Stewart leaves off tonight.
Counting this week, Lydic will have hosted (or co-hosted) The Daily Show for five weeks since February, tying Jordan Klepper for most weeks at the desk this season. Chieng and Michael Kosta are just one week behind, with four weeks a piece.
The show also set its guest slate for the week.
Tonight Stewart will welcome Protestant minister, social activist, and professor Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II. Barber’s new book, White Poverty: How Exposing Myths About Race and Class Can Reconstruct American Democracy, hit bookstores last week.
Tuesday night Chieng and Lydic will sit down with actor Rosalind Chao (3 Body Problem and Sweet Tooth on Netflix)
And Thursday night Chieng and Lydic will welcome The Bear star Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
The show will be dark Wednesday night as The Daily Show is giving its staff the day off for Juneteenth.
