After a dominant Monday Night Football-fueled win last Monday night, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! rang up another ratings win last Tuesday night, growing its total audience by 26% week-over-week. Kimmel’s guests Tuesday night were Kathy Griffin and Ronny Chieng, with a musical performance from Knocked Loose featuring Poppy.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which aired repeats all Thanksgiving week, saw a -43% week-over-week decline among total viewers ratings Tuesday, but that was still enough to come in second among total viewers with a repeat of its November 14th episode featuring guests Billy Bob Thornton and Sharon Horgan.
NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon came in third among total viewers, with a new episode featuring guests Anthony Anderson and Jodie Turner-Smith, and a stand-up set from comic D.J. Demers.
All three 11:35 p.m. shows saw week-over-week declines among viewers aged 18-49. Kimmel took first place among viewers in the advertiser-coveted demo, while Fallon and Colbert split second.
NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers was the top dog at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday across both key ratings measures, growing its total viewers by +5% week-over-week with a new episode featuring guests Kaley Cuoco, Ryan Clark, and Percival Everett.
ABC’s Nightline and CBS’ After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson split second place in the late-late slot, with Nightline winning more total viewers, and After Midnight winning more viewers in the demo. Lauren Lapkus, Paul F. Tompkins, Rachel Pegram were Taylor Tomlinson’s panelists in a repeat of her show’s September 23rd episode.
The Daily Show was dark all Thanksgiving week, with Comedy Central airing other programming in its timeslot.
