Saturday Night Live has tapped a return host and first-time musical guest for its next episode.
Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson will host the NBC sketch series alongside musical guest Benson Boone on May 3rd, 2025,
It will be Brunson’s second time at home base in Studio 8H. She made her SNL debut just over two years ago on April 1, 2023, an episode that earned her a nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards,. Brunson was also present at the show’s 50th anniversary special in February.
Benson Boone will be making his first visit to SNL. The 22 year-old singer/songwriter, who shot to fame with his hit single “Beautiful Things,” is fresh off an electric set at Coachella this weekend, where he debuted the title track of his upcoming sophmore album, “American Heart.” Boone was portrayed on SNL just last weekend by Marcello Hernandez in the show’s “Jury Duty” sketch.
The show is set to take a two-week break before returning on May 3rd for the first of Season 50’s final stretch of three episodes. No word yet on who will host the show’s May 10th episode or the May 17th season finale.
