That’s +2% and -2%, respectively, from the week before (beginning June 10). Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘s week of June 17 ratings averages are based off of four new episodes, and a rebroadcast (Friday). The show’s Monday, June 17 episode had a delayed start time of 12:22 a.m. ET due to overrun from ABC’s 2024 NBA Finals Game 5 coverage.
NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon finished third in total viewers, but second among P18-49 in the 11:35 p.m. timeslot. The program averaged 1,352,000 total viewers and 211,000 demo viewers, per Nielsen live-plus-three data. That’s +3% in total viewers and +5% in P18-49 from the week before (starting June 10). Following Fallon, NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers averaged 911,000 total viewers and 154,000 P18-49 viewers for the week of June 17, per Nielsen live-plus-three. That’s No. 1 in the 12:35 a.m. timeslot. Relative to the week before, Late Night shed -5% in total viewers but gained +8% in P18-49. Meyers‘ week of June 17 ratings averages are based off of four new episodes (Monday-Thursday) and a rebroadcast (Friday).
Following Colbert, CBS’ After Midnight averaged 647,000 total viewers and 128,000 P18-49 viewers for the week of June 17, per Nielsen live-plus-three. After Midnight gained +5% in total viewers and +11% in P18-49 relative to the week before. Week of June 17 ratings averages for the Taylor Tomlinson-led show are based off of four new episodes (Monday-Thursday) and a rebroadcast (Friday).
ABC’s half-hour late night news program Nightline averaged 826,000 total viewers with 122,000 P18-49 for the week of June 17, per Nielsen live-plus-three data. That’s -13% in total viewers, and -29% in P18-49 from the week before. Nightline aired new episodes on Monday-Friday of last week. The show’s Monday, June 17 episode didn’t begin until 1:24 a.m. ET due to overrun from the network’s NBA Finals Game 5 coverage.
Lastly, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show averaged 998,000 total viewers and 180,000 P18-49 viewers for the week of June 17, per Nielsen live-plus-three. That’s up +5% in total viewers, but -2% in P18-49 from the week prior. Jon Stewart hosted The Daily Show’s Monday, June 17 episode, while Ronny Chieng and Desi Lydic took on TDS co-host duties Tuesday and Thursday. Last week’s Daily Show ratings are based off of three new episodes. The show was preempted on Wednesday, June 19 for the Juneteenth holiday.
