Kimmel-Fallon Password Episode Gets an Airdate

We knew it was coming, now we know when.

NBC has announced that the Jimmy Kimmel episode of Password will air on Tuesday March 26th. As we previously reported, Kimmel taped an appearance on his late-night rival’s prime time game show last Fall.

The show is hosted by Keke Palmer, who won an Emmy for her work on the show’s first season. She’s joined in each episode by recurring player Fallon, who pairs with a contestant to compete against another celebrity guest/contestant pair.

It won’t be the first time the two late night hosts have worked together. In addition to Strike Force Five, the podcast that paired the duo with fellow hosts Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers and John Oliver to help raise funds for striking staffers last Summer, Fallon and Kimmel swapped places last year for April Fool’s Day, with each hosting the other’s show.

In a recent interview with USA Today, Fallon said of Kimmel’s appearance on Password, “[he] comes on the show just to prove to everyone that there are two Jimmys that are white guys hosting a talk show that are different. We actually are two different people. But he’s very funny.”

Password is co-produced by Fallon’s Electric Hot Dog production company, which also produces the Fallon-hosted musical variety series That’s My Jam for NBC.
