Jon Stewart, Ronny Chieng to Share Daily Show Anchor Desk This Week

Comedy Central’s “Best F**king News Team” is back to work today with the first in a week of new episodes.

Jon Stewart will kick things off tonight, with The Daily Show‘s Monday night host set to sit down with journalist & author Patrick McGee to discuss his book Apple in China: The Capture of the World’s Gretest Company.

Immediately following Stewart’s episode tonight, Comedy Central will air the new special  The Daily Show Presents: Jordan Klepper Fingers The Pulse: MAGA: The Next Generation. Klepper’s sixth Daily Show-branded special is set to see the intrepid correspondent embed himself with “Young MAGA”–a surprising pocket of young voters who emerged in support of Donald Trump during last year’s election.

Senior Daily Show correspondent Ronny Chieng will then take the desk Tuesday through Thursday. It will be Chieng’s fourth week hosting the show in 2025. (He last hosted the week of April 14th.)

Chieng’s guests this week are set to include fashion designer Prabal Gurung on Tuesday and Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning star Simon Pegg on Wednesday. He’ll then close out the week on Thursday with South Carolina Gamecocks Women’s Basketball Coach Dawn Staley.  The three-time Olympic gold medalist and six-time WNBA All-Star will discuss her new book, Uncommon Favor: Basketball, North Philly, My Mother, and the Life Lessons I Learned from All Three.

The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m, ET/PT on Comedy Central, and is available to stream next day on Paramount+.
