Jon Stewart Back at Daily Show Desk Tonight, Ronny Chieng Hosts Tues-Thurs

The Daily Show is back in session. After taking last week off for the holiday, the “Best F**king News Team” returns to Comedy Central tonight for the first of a fresh round of episodes.

Kicking things off, Jon Stewart returns to the Daily Show desk with a conversation with former Deputy U.S. Attorney General and Acting U.S. Attorney General Sally Yates. This meeting certainly feels timely as Donald Trump—whom Yates served under for just 10 days during his first administration—continues to fill his cabinet with controversial nominees.

From there, Ronny Chieng (whose latest Netflix special premieres Dec. 17) will host Tuesday through Thursday. On Tuesday night, Chieng will be joined by astrophysicist and frequent Daily Show guest Neil deGrasse Tyson, who’s promoting his new book, Merlin’s Tour of the Universe. Chieng’s guest on Wednesday is chef Tom Colicchio, who will chat about his book, Why I Cook. Thursday’s guest has not yet been announced

The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, before becoming available to stream the next day on Paramount+.
