Holiday break may be just around the corner, but the elves at The Daily Show are still hard at work. The “Best F**king News Team” returns to Comedy Central tonight, December 9th, with the first of the show’s final week of fresh episodes for 2024.
Kicking things off, Jon Stewart returns to the Daily Show desk with a conversation with Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Ben Wikler, who’s also a candidate for Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair.
From there, Michael Kosta will host Tuesday through Thursday. On Tuesday night, Kosta will chat with U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, who made history in 2021 when she became the first Native American to serve as a cabinet secretary. Kosta’s guest on Wednesday will be journalist and author T.J. English, who’s promoting his new book, The Last Kilo. Kosta will round out the week Thursday with a conversation with Peter Sarsgaard about his starring role in the upcoming historical drama film, September 5.
After this week, The Daily Show is set to go on break. With Jon Stewart committed to his Monday night duties through the end of next year, no major changes are expected when the show returns on January 6th.
The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET on Comedy Central, and streams the next day on Paramount+.

Oh joy, a week of an over the hill, past his due date host in Jon Stewart, and the absolute worst God damned correspondent and poster child of white privilege in Michael Kosta finishing off 2024.
Someone take this show around the back and put a bullet in its head already!
