With much of late night on break through the Winter Olympics, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show is keeping the lights on this week with a batch of fresh episodes.
Jon Stewart kicks things off tonight, with the show’s Monday night host set to sit down with Kentucky governor Andy Beshear, who in a recent poll claimed the highest approval rating (65 percent) of any Democratic governor in the country. By comparison, Donald Trump has a 55 percent approval rating among Kentucky voters.
Beshear is also the host of SiriusXM’s Andy Beshear Podcast.
From Tuesday through Thursday, senior correspondent Jordan Klepper will host the show. This will mark Klepper’s second week behind the desk in 2026, following his last stint the week of January 12.
On Tuesday night, Klepper welcomes actor Tim Blake Nelson, who is promoting his novel Superhero, which offers an inside baseball look at the making of a (fictional) superhero film.
Wednesday brings Andrew Jarecki, director of The Alabama Solution, a documentary chronicling a cover-up within one of the nation’s deadliest prison system .
On Thursday, Klepper closes out his week with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, who has been in the news for his defiant response to recent federal immigration enforcement operations in the city, including the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renée Nicole Good by an ICE agent in January
Klepper first joined The Daily Show in 2014. He departed in 2017 to host The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, followed by Klepper. He returned to TDS as a contributor in late 2019 and is now one of the show’s five correspondent-hosts, each taking three-day turns behind the desk on a rotating basis.
The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central and is available to stream the next day on Paramount+.
