Jon Stewart Returns to Daily Show Tonight, Jordan Klepper Hosts Tue–Thu

Comedy Central’s “Best F**king News Team” is back to work this Monday, kicking off a week of brand-new episodes.

Jon Stewart will lead things off tonight with guest Jenin Younes, a First Amendment and civil liberties attorney who serves as the National Legal Director for the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) and co-hosts the Previously Prohibited podcast. It will mark Younes’ first visit to The Daily Show.

Senior correspondent Jordan Klepper will then take over as host from Tuesday through Thursday. (His last week behind the Daily Show anchor desk came in mid-November.)

On Tuesday, Klepper will welcome writer and director Joachim Trier, who’s promoting his new film Sentimental Value, which grabbed one Golden Globe on Sunday night (for Best Supporting Actor winner Stellan Skarsgård).

Wednesday’s show will feature musician Langhorne Slim, who’s out with a new album titled The Dreamin’ Kind. Slim will sit for an interview and also perform.

The Daily Show will close out the week on Thursday with a visit from Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, who’s fresh off his Best Actor Golden Globe win Sunday night for The Secret Agent.

Klepper first joined The Daily Show in 2014. He departed in 2017 to host The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, followed by Klepper. He returned to TDS as a contributor in late 2019 and is now one of the show’s five correspondent-hosts, each taking three-day turns behind the desk on a rotating basis.

The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central and is available to stream the next day on Paramount+.
