Jon Stewart returns to the Daily Show tonight before handing the reins to Jordan Klepper, who will host Tuesday through Thursday.
Stewart kicks off the week with Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent Evan Gershkovich, whose new memoir, This Cursed Beautiful Land: A Russian-American Story, details his 491-day imprisonment in Russia and the complex mechanics of modern autocracy.
Klepper takes over Tuesday fresh off his third career Emmy win. Earlier this month, he and the writing team behind The Daily Show Presents: Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse: Give the Man a Prize won Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program, the same category in which Klepper won last year for another Fingers the Pulse special.
His first guest of the week Tuesday is bestselling author Marlon James, who will promote his new novel, The Disappearers.
On Wednesday, Klepper welcomes musician CMAT, who will be on to promote her album Euro-Country.
The week wraps Thursday with filmmaker John Wilson, who will discuss his documentary The History of Concrete.
With this week’s run, Klepper joins Desi Lydic at seven hosting weeks in 2026, putting the two senior correspondents at the front of the show’s rotating correspondent-host pack for the year so far. Michael Kosta is close behind with six weeks, while Josh Johnson has hosted five and Ronny Chieng has hosted four. Klepper last hosted the show during the week of July 27.
The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, with episodes streaming the following day on Paramount+.
