Jon Stewart, Michael Kosta to Share Daily Show Anchor Desk This Week

Comedy Central’s “Best F**king News Team” is back to work today, with the first in a full week of new episodes.

Jon Stewart kicks things off tonight with The Daily Show‘s Monday-night host set to sit down with historian and author Heather Ann Thompson, who’s out promoting her book Fear and Fury: The Reagan Eighties, the Bernie Goetz Shootings, and the Rebirth of White Rage.

Senior Daily Show correspondent Michael Kosta will then take the desk Tuesday through Thursday.

Kosta’s guest on Tuesday will be Paul Rosolie, a conservationalist and founder of Junglekeepers, who’s making the rounds on behalf of his book Junglekeeper: What It Takes to Change the World.

On Wednesday, Kosta will welcome comedian and actor Ms. Pat, whose BET+ series The Ms. Pat Show has been streaming Season 5.

And then on Thursday, Kosta will sit down with Jon Shenk and Navy SEAL veteran Marcus Capone, the director and subject of the Netflix documentary In Waves and War.

Kosta has been keeping busy in recently, juggling his Daily Show duties with a newly-announced guest appearance on Tracy Morgan’s new NBC comedy The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, in which the nine-year Daily Show vet will play the smug, self-important host of a SportsCenter-style program.

The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m, ET/PT on Comedy Central, and is available to stream next day on Paramount+
