Jimmy Fallon to Mark Veterans Day With All-Veteran Audience

The Tonight Show is commemorating Veterans Day with what’s become an annual tradition. Tonight Jimmy Fallon will welcome an all-veteran audience (along with their loved ones) to the studio.

“We’re back with all-new shows this week and tonight’s audience is made up entirely of veterans, active military, and their families and friends,” the Tonight Show host wrote on Twitter/X. “Thank you for your service!”

This will be Fallon’s fifth all-veteran audience show, a tradition that has produced plenty of memorable and heartwarming moments over the years. In 2018, for instance, Fallon used the show’s popular “Whisper Challenge” segment to arrange a surprise reunion between a veteran and her active-duty husband.

On Veterans Day in 2019, Fallon kicked things off by shining the spotlight on veterans Matthew Williams (who served in the War in Afghanistan), David Bellavia (Iraq War) and Hershel “Woody” Williams (World War II), all of whom were awarded the Medal of Honor for outstanding acts of valor and service.

Over the years, The Tonight Show has partnered with multiple charities to support Veterans and their families, including Fisher House Foundation, the Home Depot Foundation (which hosts the annual Operation Surprise contest), and more.
