SNL’s Jane Wickline to Make Her Talk Show Debut With Seth Meyers

Saturday Night Live cast member Jane Wickline is about to experience something of a rite of passage for an SNL player: sitting down with Seth Meyers.

Wickline is set to make her talk show debut on the Tuesday, October 6 edition of Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The appearance comes just over two years after Wickline joined SNL as a featured player at the start of the show’s 50th season in September 2024 and on the heels of her recent promotion to repertory player.

Initially best known for bringing her deadpan musical comedy to “Weekend Update,” Wickline has since expanded her footprint considerably.

Among her biggest showcases last season were “Cousin Planet,” a musical pretape with Veronika Slowikowska, and “Winter Olympics Promo,” in which she played terrified Olympic luger Gertie Burper. She also made recurring “Weekend Update” appearances opposite Marcello Hernández as Grant and Alyssa, “The Couple You Can’t Believe Are Together.”

Wickline began her third season on the show this past weekend with another prominent turn at the “Update” desk, playing Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei.

Her profile outside SNL has been growing, too. In April, WME signed Wickline with an eye toward expanding her work in television, comedy, digital projects, and other areas. At the time, the agency noted that she had amassed more than 1.2 million followers across social platforms.

This summer, Wickline and comedian Liva Pierce brought their two-person comedy show Dukes to New York for an extended run at the SoHo Playhouse. The pair has been performing together under the Dukes banner since 2023.

Wickline’s Late Night appearance is set for Tuesday, October 6. She’ll share the guest lineup with Sebastian Stan and author George Saunders.
