NBC is extending Jimmy Fallon’s Knicks victory lap into primetime.
The network has moved up a Season 3 episode of Password featuring New York Knicks guard Josh Hart, giving it the 10/9c slot on Tuesday, June 16. The episode had previously been slated for June 30.
It’s the latest bit of Knicks synergy from Fallon and NBC, which has been leaning all the way into the team’s first NBA championship in 53 years. Hart was also among the players featured on Monday night’s special Knicks episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which also brought the Larry O’Brien Trophy to Studio 6B.
NBC’s Knicks week continues tonight in Studio 8G, where Late Night with Seth Meyers will welcome Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns, followed by OG Anunoby on Wednesday, June 17.
Hart’s Password appearance was taped well before the Knicks’ title run. The third season of the Keke Palmer-hosted game show was shot last August during The Tonight Show’s summer hiatus.
The series, produced by Fremantle in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio and Fallon’s Electric Hot Dog, has become a semi-regular summer piece of NBC’s primetime schedule since its 2022 revival.
Tonight’s originally scheduled episode with Ice-T will air on June 30 instead.
New episodes of Password are broadcast Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC and stream the next day on Peacock. Repeats of the show are also scheduled to air most Sunday nights on NBC through the end of the summer.
