Chloe Fineman has nabbed yet another film acting role, with the Saturday Night Live cast member joining the cast of the upcoming flick Love Language.
The indie romantic comedy was announced earlier this fall with Chloë Grace Moretz, Anthony Ramos, Manny Jacinto, Isabel May, Lukas Gage, and Billie Lourd attached.
Details of Love Language’s plot and characters are being kept under wraps. Production began in October in Chicago.
Fineman isn’t the movie’s only connection to SNL—the project is also produced by Colin Jost (alongside Jeff Grosvenor) for No Notes Productions. The film’s director is Joey Power (After Everything).
Now in her sixth season at SNL, Fineman has been taking on quite a few film roles. She joined the cast of pickleball comedy The Dink in November, and shot her first starring role in a feature film—Hulu original comedy Summer of 69—this past summer.
Fineman’s other movie credits include Home Team, Babylon, and Despicable Me 4. Most recently, she played Clodia Pulcher in Francis Ford Coppola’s epic yet much-maligned science-fiction drama Megalopolis.
Michael Sagol (Bad Sisters) and Tyson Bidner (The Bear) serve as executive producers on Love Language. Its producers also include Bert Hamelinck and Allison Hironaka for Caviar, as well as Ari Lubet for 3 Arts Entertainment.
