Role Model made his Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon debut Monday night, where he was joined onstage by a special guest: SNL‘s Bowen Yang.
The 27 year-old pop star teamed up with Yang as he performed “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out.” As countless TikToks can attest, Role Model (aka Tucker Pillsbury) has made it a custom on his current tour to have a fan join him onstage to be his “Sally” when he performs the song live.
Among said fans have been celebrities like Renée Rapp, Dylan Minnette, and Jake Shane—who was the original “Sally” at a sold-out concert in Dallas on February 28, 2025.
“We had no plans to do this whole ‘Sally’ thing,” Role Model recently told Teen Vogue. “I knew right before the tour started that Jake Shane was going to be in Dallas at the same time doing the show, so we were like oh we should bring him out.”
From there, it became a tradition for Role Model to bellow out “Who’s my Sally?” mid-song before welcoming someone from the crowd to dance with him onstage.
That someone Monday night was SNL’s Bowen Yang—who was back at work Monday at 30 Rock after two weeks off that saw him rocking out to Charli xcx at Coachella last weekend in another widely shared clip.
