Weren’t nominated for an Emmy this year? There’s another way you can win with the Television Academy in 2024.
An online auction organized by the Television Academy Foundation is scheduled to go live at 3 p.m. ET on Tuesday, August 27, giving late-night fans the chance at some fun exclusive experiences.
The “Bid for the Stars” auction, hosted by Charitybuzz, includes items like two tickets to a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and two VIP tickets to a Jon Stewart-fronted episode of The Daily Show.
Also up for grabs is an experience at the upcoming Emmy Awards, including two orchestra seats for the ceremony and access to the private Governors Gala after party to “party with the winners.”
Proceeds from the all-star auction will benefit the Television Academy Foundation’s educational programs. The foundation was established more than 50 years ago with the dual purpose of preserving the history of television and empowering its future creators.
Separate from “Bid for the Stars,” tickets to a taping of Saturday Night Live during its monumental 50th season are also available on Charitybuzz in an auction to benefit the East Hampton Library in New York. Another Daily Show experience is also up for grabs in an auction benefiting Art for Life, a nonprofit that brings exposure and access to the arts to disadvantaged young people.
The “Bid for the Stars” auction block will close on September 19 (with the exception of the Emmys experience lot, which closes on September 2). Bids can be made here.
