Jon Stewart returns to The Daily Show tonight before handing the desk to Jordan Klepper for the rest of the week.
Stewart kicks things off Monday with journalist Matthew Cole, author of the new book Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner and Mohamed bin Zayed’s Secret Plot to Remake the Middle East.
Klepper will actually get his first turn in the spotlight this week immediately after Stewart’s episode, when his latest Fingers the Pulse special, Red Flags, premieres on Comedy Central.
The half-hour special sends Klepper back on the campaign trail ahead of the 2026 midterms, where he talks with conservative voters and activists about the state of President Trump’s political coalition. It marks the eighth installment in Klepper’s Fingers the Pulse series, which has won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program in each of the past two years.
Klepper takes over the Daily Show desk Tuesday, welcoming British comedian and actor Morgana Robinson, who will promote the new film Ali G: Who Iz I?.
On Wednesday, musician David Byrne stops by to discuss his new book, Sleeping Beauties: Why Good Ideas Go Dormant and How They Wake Up.
The week wraps Thursday with actor and playwright Tracy Letts, who will be promoting the film I Play Rocky and Netflix’s East of Eden.
This will be Klepper’s eighth hosting week of 2026, putting him alone atop The Daily Show’s correspondent-host leaderboard. Michael Kosta and Desi Lydic have each hosted seven weeks, while Ronny Chieng and Josh Johnson have each hosted five.
The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, with episodes streaming the following day on Paramount+. The Daily Show Presents: Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse: Red Flags airs Monday immediately after the show and will also be available Tuesday on Paramount+, The Daily Show’s YouTube channel, and VOD.
