Jordan Klepper is heading back into MAGA country for another Daily Show field special—this time with the 2026 midterms looming.
Comedy Central announced Thursday that The Daily Show Presents: Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse: Red Flags will premiere Monday, October 26, immediately following The Daily Show.
The new half-hour sends Klepper back on the campaign trail to gauge the state of President Trump’s political coalition as Republicans head toward the midterms with a growing list of vulnerabilities.
Comedy Central says the special will see Klepper travel around the country talking with conservative voters and activists about everything from the war with Iran and gas prices to the political fallout surrounding the demolished East Wing.
Red Flags marka the eighth installment in Klepper’s Fingers the Pulse series, and arrives after back-to-back Emmy wins for Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program.
His most recent special, Give the Man a Prize, won the category at the 2026 Emmys after sending Klepper across the United States and Norway to investigate Trump’s pursuit of the Nobel Peace Prize. The previous installment, MAGA: The Next Generation, took the same award in 2025.
Other entries in the series have included Rally Together, Moscow Tools, America Unfollows Democracy, Hungary for Democracy, and Into the MAGAverse.
Klepper first joined The Daily Show as a correspondent in 2014, leaving in 2017 to host The Opposition with Jordan Klepper and, later, Klepper. He returned to The Daily Show in 2019 and is now part of its rotating roster of hosts.
Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse: Red Flags airs Monday, October 26, after The Daily Show on Comedy Central. It will be available the following day on Paramount+, The Daily Show’s YouTube channel, and VOD.
