Jeremy Culhane is following the lead of several Saturday Night Live cast members before him, bringing his podcast to Will Ferrell’s podcast network.
The comedy podcast Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists has joined Big Money Players Network, Ferrell’s podcast venture with iHeartMedia. Culhane co-hosts the show with comedians Kylie Brakeman, Angela Giarratana, and Patrick McDonald.
Each week, the quartet stages fully improvised Hollywood roundtables on a given theme. Recent episodes have seen the performers embody memoir writers, commercial actors, and vertical microdrama stars.
The group began working together in 2019 at the Upright Citizens Brigade, launched the podcast in 2021, and have produced 224 episodes to date. On YouTube alone, the show has amassed a following of over 50,000 subscribers, with tens of thousands more on social media. AOAOAOA also releases additional content to subscribers through Patreon.
Ferrell launched Big Money Players with iHeartMedia in October 2019, even reprising his Anchorman character to host his own show for the network, The Ron Burgundy Podcast. Since then, the shingle has become a home for several members of the extended SNL family. Las Culturistas, co-hosted by Bowen Yang, joined Big Money Players four years into its run in 2020; Ego Nwodim brought her show Thanks Dad to the network for its second season; and SNL vet Robert Smigel just debuted Humor Me with Robert Smigel & Friends on the network today.
Culhane, who had been a frequent performer on the online comedy platform Dropout, joined SNL as a featured player at the start of Season 51 last fall.
“We are so excited for AOAOAOA to join the BMP family,” Culhane and his co-hosts said in a joint statement. “This is a huge win for annoying people everywhere.”
“Breaking: Hollywood podcast goes Hollywood,” the show captioned an announcement of the new partnership.
