Jack Black certainly makes some, um, “choices” as he gets ready for his induction into Saturday Night Live‘s Five-Timers Club.
In the #GRWM (Get Ready With Me)-style promo above, the big-screen funny man starts off in a bathrobe and hair towel, before making a shirt choice that is best described as “cat on a cat.”
Black pairs that colorful choice with not jorts but “florts,” and then demonstrates how he carefully calibrates his rainbow tube socks to show off his “meaty grapefruits.”
After plunging his dogs into platform Crocs, Black makes the difficult decision between bucket hat or beanie. Or, is there perhaps a creative third option involving the two styles…?

Timed to the imminent release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Black is hosting this weekend’s SNL alongside musical guest Jack White—aka, as he puts it,”my brother from another color.” They’ll be followed on April 11 by host Colman Domingo (Euphoria) and musical guest Anitta.
This Saturday marks the first time that NBC’s SNL and Sky One’s SNL UK will be releasing new episodes on the same night. Across the pond at 10 p.m. GMT, Riz Ahmed is set to host SNL UK, with musical guest Kasabian.
