Klepper’s latest “Fingers the Pulse” special earned a 3.89% share, up 106% compared to the show’s most recent special, per The Wrap. MAGA: The Next Generation aired after a Jon Stewart-hosted Daily Show on Monday, May 19th.

‘It’s a weird time to do it,” the Malaysia-born Daily Show correspondent acknowledges in conversation with Variety‘s Mike Schnieder. But he jokes his Trump-era citizenship proves how much he wanted it: “Anyone can apply for U.S. citizenship under Obama. That’s easy, Golden Age.”
