The 30-year veteran of Saturday Night Live‘s makeup department recalls some of his favorite (and most creatively challenging) sketches in the show’s latest “Beyond Studio 8H” mini doc.

Matthew Claybrooks, Ali Leroi, Jon Macks, and April Rock all have ties to the SNL alum. It’s not clear whether their contributions to last night’s episode extended beyond Rock’s opening monologue.
