The Real Time host, who said Thursday that Larry David comparing Trump to Hitler was an insult to the 6 million Jews who died in the holocaust performed a similar bit in 2016.

In an interview with Piers Morgan Thursday, Maher called David’s satirical piece about a meeting with Hitler that changed his mind about Nazism an “insult” to Jews who died in the holocaust. [via Mediaite]

Maher took to social media Tuesday, where he promised he’ll discuss his dinner at The White House on the next new episode of HBO’s Real Time April 11th, adding “It’s April 1 today, no one would believe what I said today anyway!”
