Emmy Nominations

The TV Academy will announce its nominees for outstanding variety series and outstanding reality series on Today between 4:45am and 5:20am PT Wednesday morning, nearly three hours before the rest of this year’s Emmy nominations.

Six months ahead of the 2026 Emmys, Variety has named Marcello Hernandez and Ashley Padilla among its top contenders for Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress in Comedy.

Emmy rules dictate that the number of nominee slots be a fraction of the number of shows submitted, which is why only three shows (out of 13 submissions) were nominated this year.
