Where’s Kat Timpf? Gutfeld! Co-Host Is Undergoing Reconstructive Surgery

Kat Timpf has stepped away from Gutfeld! for another two weeks as she undergoes the first of two reconstructive surgeries related to her breast cancer treatment.

The Fox News personality made the announcement at the end of last Friday’s episode of Gutfeld! and later reposted the clip to social media after viewers noticed her absence this week. “When I came back I said I still had more surgeries to go, and my first one is next week, so I will be out for a couple of weeks,” Timpf told viewers.

“Even the best-case scenario breast cancer can involve quite a road to feeling whole again, so this is the first step in that,” she continued. “Just so the internet can’t come up with theories about where I am—that is where I am.”

Timpf’s health journey has played out in real time over the past several months. In February, she revealed that she was diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer just hours before giving birth to her first child. “I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early,” she shared on Instagram at the time. “I’m lucky to be my son’s mom… the little dude absolutely rules — and not just because he might have saved my life.”

When she returned to the show cancer-free in June, she revealed that she still had two reconstructive surgeries ahead.

Concluding her remarks last Friday, Timpf thanked Gutfeld! viewers for their well wishes. “Thank you everyone for all of your support and vibes and prayers—however you show that. I appreciate it. I can’t wait to come back soon.”

She is expected to return to the show on Monday, July 28.
