Katie Britt is giving Pete Davidson a run for the money.
As of Wednesday morning, Scarlett Johansson’s pitch perfect Saturday Night Live impression of the Alabama senator has been viewed 5.4 million times on YouTube.
That number makes it one of only four clips this season to break the five million views mark: “Protective Mom 2” (also 5.4 million views), “Washington’s Dream” (7.8 million), and “I’m Just Pete” (12 million).
It’s a feat made all the more impressive by the fact that it’s only been three days since the clip was posted.
The much-talked about sketch appears to be a rising tide that lifts all boats. According to yesterday’s live-plus-same-day ratings numbers, Saturday’s SNL is already the third most viewed of the season–and that’s before delayed viewing data come in over the course of the next week.
Britt’s national moment in the sun may be coming to an end, but with numbers like this, one can’t help but wonder if SNL writers will be tasked with finding ways to extend it.
