Saturday Night Live is all-encompassing job on live weeks, but the show’s twenty-episode seasons leave plenty of time for extracurriculars, and Emil Wakim looks to be taking full advantage, with a new run of tour dates that will take him around the country (and Canada) in 2025.
The SNL featured player took to social media to announce the tour dates, sharing a poster designed by artist Alizee Castel.
Wakim will hit 17 cities between next month and August, beginning at Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia on February 5.
The tour’s first several stops are scheduled around the comedian’s off-weeks from SNL, but kicks into high gear after the show wraps its 50th season on May 17.
The standup comic has become a familiar face since joining SNL last fall alongside Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline. In addition to bringing his own comedy to “Weekend Update,” His most recent appearances on the show have included a role a Luigi Mangione lookalike and an in-sketch shoutout from surprise guest Adam Sandler.
Wakim, who began performing standup in college, made his TV debut performing a set on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2022. That same year, he was selected as a New Face in Comedy at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival.
