SNL’s Chloe Fineman Passes 400-Sketch Milestone

Chloe Fineman has officially entered an elite club of Saturday Night Live cast members: with tonight’s Melissa McCarthy episode, she has appeared in 400 aired sketches.

That’s according to Jon Schneider and Mike Murray of The Saturday Night Network, LateNighter’s podcast partner.

Tonight’s sketch “Truth or Dare” was the one that put her over the top.

Fineman first joined the show’s cast as a featured player for its 45th season. (She was promoted to repertory player at the start of Season 47.)

Her first sketch appearance came during the Season 45 premiere on September 28, 2019, in which she played then–Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson in a parody of a CNN town hall centered on Donald Trump’s first impeachment.

Fineman has proven herself to be a sharp impressionist over her seven seasons on the show, taking on—among many others—Jennifer Coolidge, Drew Barrymore, Timothée Chalamet, JoJo Siwa, and Miley Cyrus.

Tonight’s show was Fineman’s 123rd episode as a cast member. Though she had several TV appearances under her belt before joining SNL—including a small but pivotal role on Jane the Virgin—her off-SNL résumé has grown considerably in recent years, including a starring role in the Hulu film Summer of 69 and supporting roles in Damien Chazelle’s Babylon, Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis, and Despicable Me.

Our congratulations to Chloe Fineman—your new elite status qualifies you for a free checked bag at the Studio 8H page desk.

The only news here is that she’s been in 400 sketches and had virtually no impact on the show.

Can you imagine the last 7 seasons without her?

    Yes, you easily can.

Chloe you’re the cutest cast member of the show. We’ll be looking forward for you to star in your very own sitcom show on CBS in 2026.

      That’s what she really is!
