SNL’s Andrew Dismukes to Hit 100-Show Mark This Weekend

As Saturday Night Live turns 50 this weekend, Andrew Dismukes will be reaching a milestone of his own. The repertory player is set to appear in his 100th episode Saturday, making him the 57th SNL cast member to do so.

Dismukes first joined SNL as a writer in 2017, then was elevated to featured player in 2022. He’s already outlasted the Season 46 classmates he entered the cast with: Lauren Holt, who appeared in 20 episodes, and Punkie Johnson, who ran for 79.

Per LateNighter’s podcast partner, the Saturday Night Network, Dismukes’ own run at the show has seen him appear in 309 sketches to date, some of which came before he even joined the cast. That number puts him in 57th place among all SNL cast members for total number of sketch appearances. He averages just over 3 sketch appearances per show.

He also ranks 37th in the number of times he’s shouted “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!”—15 times to date.

Dismukes’ benchmark coincides with what is SNL’s true 50th anniversary episode. Though the show’s fiftieth season was recognized with a celebratory weekend earlier this year, SNL debuted on October 11th, 1975.
