SNL Sets Final Season 51 Hosts: Olivia Rodrigo, Matt Damon, and Will Ferrell

Saturday Night Live is closing out Season 51 on a high note, welcoming back three fan favorites for its final run of hosts—and a couple of big name musical guests to boot.

SNL is taking a two-week break after this weekend’s Colman Domingo-hosted episode, before entering its final stretch. The season-ending trifecta kicks off May 2 with Olivia Rodrigo pulling double duty as host and musical guest.

Rodrigo previously appeared on SNL twice as musical guest, performing in May 2021 and February 2023 during the height of her SOUR and GUTS eras. The Grammy winner’s new album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, drops June 12.

On May 9, Matt Damon will lord over Studio 8H for a third time, ahead of the July release of Christopher Nolan’s epic saga The Odyssey (in which he stars as Odysseus). That night, Noah Kahan will serve as musical guest for a second time, on the heels of the April 24 release of his latest album, The Great Divide.

For the season finale airing May 16, esteemed former cast member Will Ferrell will return as host for a sixth time, ahead of the summer release of his new Netflix comedy series, The Hawk. The iconic Paul McCartney that night will serve as musical guest for a fifth time; his new album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, is set for release May 29.
