Sarah Silverman had a lot riding on Paul McCartney’s set list nearly a year ago at Saturday Night Live‘s 50th anniversary special.
As a guest on Monday night’s episode of NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, Silverman said that it was “magical” and “a dream come true” to be on hand for last February’s live, milestone SNL50: The Anniversary Special, especially since she was a cast member of the iconic sketch comedy series for just one season (1993-94).
Silverman, as seen in the clip below, went on to detail a wager that she and fellow SNL alum Jon “That’s the Ticket!” Lovitz made while seated next to each other in the SNL50 audience, ahead of Paul McCartney’s set.

“Paul McCartney was about to sing,” Silverman shares, “and [Jon] leans and goes, ‘If i can guess what song he’s going to sing, will you show me a picture of your vagina?’
“I said absolutely,” she deadpans. “I said absolutely. Deal.”
Lovitz proceeded to guess that the onetime Beatles front man would lead off with “Golden Slumbers”–and as luck (or perhaps an insider tip?) would have it, Lovitz was right.
Meyers at this point jumps in to note that he was seated on the other side of Silverman as this went down, yet was oblivious to the wager at hand. All he knew was that as soon as “Golden Slumbers” started, “I watched Lovitz turn to you and go, ‘I knew it! A bet’s a bet!'”
Puzzled by Lovitz’s taunt, “I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?'” Meyers recalls saying. “And you told me, and I’m like, ‘This is the best story.'”
Silverman did not confirm during Monday’s Late Night visit if she made good on the bet.
I would like to be in on that bet.
