First on LateNighter: The Late Show with Stephen Colbert once again took the top spot at 11:35 p.m. among total viewers in November, while Jimmy Kimmel Live! held onto first place in the advertiser-coveted 18–49 demographic.
According to Nielsen Live+7 ratings data, both shows made modest 1% monthly gains among total viewers, with Colbert netting an average nightly audience of 2.7 million versus Kimmel at 2.4 million. In the advertiser-covered 18–49 demo, Kimmel outpaced Colbert, growing 8% month-over-month to 294,000 viewers, while Colbert declined by 5% to 218,000.
NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was down across both measures, with an average nightly audience of 1.3 million total viewers (down 4% month-over-month) and 198,000 viewers in the demo (down 3%).
At 12:37 a.m., Nightline traded places with last month’s timeslot winner, Late Night with Seth Meyers, with the half-hour ABC News show netting an average nightly audience of 980,000 total viewers (up 4% over October) and 134,000 viewers in the demo (a 14% monthly increase). Meyers held steady among total viewers with a nightly average of 963,000 but dipped 1% in the demo to 129,000.
At 11 p.m., Comedy Central’s The Daily Show averaged 913,000 total viewers and 197,000 in the demo, up 5% and 8%, respectively, from October. The show aired 12 new episodes during November.
At 10 p.m., Fox News’s Gutfeld! took the top prize in total viewership with 2.8 million (down 10% from October) and 192,000 viewers aged 18–49 (down 17%).
Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live—which in November aired five episodes from Las Vegas under the title BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen—was down 9% among total viewers to 310,000 and down 21% in the demo, averaging 71,000 nightly viewers.
Year over year, the total audience across all shows currently tracked by LateNighter was down 8% among total viewers and 23% in the 18–49 demographic. Compared to November 2024, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Daily Show were the only series to post gains: Kimmel grew 13% in total viewers and 8% in the demo, The Daily Show was up 10% across both measures, and Colbert increased 7% among total viewers (but fell 31% in the demo).
