Photos: SNLers Past and Present Attend SNL50 Homecoming Concert

By most accounts, Friday night’s SNL50: The Homecoming Concert was a barn burner of epic proportions, with performances and reunions that some have compared to Live Aid.

But for longtime Saturday Night Live fans in particular, half the fun of watching the concert on Peacock was the cutaways to the audience, which was populated almost exclusively with people who’ve had a connection to the show over its 50 seasons.

Yes, there were the famous former hosts—including Tom Hanks, Jon Hamm, Anya Taylor-Joy, Paul Rudd, and Jerry Seinfeld—but even more fun were the glimpses of cast members past and present.

Turns out, those cutaways were just the tip of the iceberg as is evident from our red carpet photo gallery of 150+ celebs and SNLers past and present.

More than two dozen artists who’ve appeared on the Saturday Night Live since its premiere in 1975 performed at Friday night’s concert, including Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Cher, Chris Martin, David Byrne, DEVO, Eddie Vedder, Jack White, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Mumford & Sons, a reunited Nirvana (with frontman Post Malone), Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn, Snoop Dogg, St. Vincent, The B-52s, and Wyclef Jean.

The Roots served as the night’s house band alongside emcee Jimmy Fallon, while various SNL alumni introduced performances and revived classic musically-themed sketches.
