Late night will be running on a skeleton crew this week, with The Daily Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers all dark as this year’s early-spring slowdown continues across the broadcast dial.
The Daily Show is set to return next week, with Jon Stewart expected back at the desk Monday, April 13, while Fallon and Meyers remain off until Monday, April 20.
Keeping the lights on will be Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which returns from its own one-week break tonight with a full week of shows, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which has three new episodes scheduled Monday through Wednesday. (Colbert will air a repeat Thursday night after CBS presents Masters Tournament coverage in its usual time slot.)
Colbert’s lineup this week leans heavily on star power, with Keanu Reeves, Oprah Winfrey, and Bryan Cranston all set to stop by alongside musical guests Jack White, Brandi Carlile, and Robert Plant.
Over on ABC, Kimmel mixes comedy veterans and prestige TV talent, welcoming Jason Segel, Lisa Ann Walter, Oscar Isaac, and Jean Smart, with musical guests Gorillaz featuring Sparks.
Elsewhere this week, Gutfeld! holds down the late-night lane on Fox News, while Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen continues airing new episodes on CBS following The Late Show. Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen is off this week and set to return with new episodes April 13.

The listings for Colbert only go up through Wednesday. I did notice that Thursday’s episode will be delayed by 15 minutes for a “2026 Masters Highlights” special. Could Colbert be taking that night off as a result?
Yes, he is! Mentioned in the story
