Jordan Klepper Returns to Daily Show Anchor Desk Tues-Thurs This Week

The Daily Show hosting round robin has found its way back to Jordan Klepper.

Klepper will host this week’s Tuesday-Thursday episodes, making him the first correspondent to return to the anchor desk solo so far this season. (Desi Lydic and Michael Kosta co-hosted two weeks ago, after each individually hosted in February.)

On Tuesday night, Klepper will welcome CNN chief national security analyst and anchor Jim Sciutto. Sciutto will be promoting his new book, The Return of Great Powers, which examines where America fits into the new global order alongside Russia and China.

On Wednesday night, Klepper will host Byron Tau, a reporter at NOTUS, a new Washington publication from the nonprofit, nonpartisan Allbritton Journalism Institute. Tau will be on to promote his new book Means of Control.

And on Thursday night, singer-songwriter Huey Lewis will talk about the Broadway show The Heart of Rock and Roll, a new musical comedy inspired by the chart-topping anthems of Huey Lewis and the News.

With Jon Stewart hosting The Daily Show Mondays through election day, the show’s correspondents are taking turns hosting Tuesday through Thursday each week.
