Most Super Bowl winners say they’re going to Disney World. This year, two star players from the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are going elsewhere: The Tonight Show Starting Jimmy Fallon.
Jimmy Fallon is set to welcome Saquon Barkley and quarterback Jalen Hurts to the NBC late-night show Tuesday night.
Sources close to the show tell us Tuesday night’s episode will also feature cameos from Hurts and Barkley’s teammates Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Mekhi Becton and Lane Johnson.
The topic of conversation, of course, will be the Eagles’ blowout 40-22 win against the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night, which earned Hurts the Super Bowl MVP Award.
Barkley and Hurts’ appearance will mark the Tonight Show debut for both players.
The duo’s booking was a last-minute addition for Fallon’s Tuesday night show, which was already packed. His other guests tonight are set to include Celtics player Jaylen Brown, XO, Kitty actress Anna Cathcart, and comedian Leslie Liao.
It’s shaping up to be quite the week for Fallon between tonight’s Super Bowl coup, last night’s surprise appearance from David Letterman, and Friday night’s star-studed SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, which he will be hosting. If that wasn’t enough, yesterday his name was among just a handful “cast headliners” appearing at SNL’s Sunday night anniversary special (alongside the likes of Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler and Tina Fey).
