Jimmy Fallon Announces Pop-Up Pizza Collaboration With Chef Tim Hollingsworth

He may have lost the first round of the late-night pizza wars to Jimmy Kimmel, but Jimmy Fallon is back on the scene with what promises to be a formidable new challenger.

Fallon, who’s no stranger to tasty food collaborations (see his two Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors), has found a new partner in Pizza Hut and the Los Angeles concept restaurant Chain

Founded by chef Tim Hollingsworth and actor B.J. Novak, Chain serves gourmet dishes inspired by American chain eateries. Its latest offering is “Jimmy’s Personal Pan Pizza.”

Although it’ll only be available for three days, organizers say Fallon might just “OutPizza the Hut” with his four-cheese pan pizza, which includes “a 24 month aged Vacche Rosse parmigiano and Chef Tim’s spicy red sauce.”

Entry to the pop-up will set diners back $50 per person, but each ticket includes a personal pizza served in a collectible box, a side of pepperoni chips, an open bar featuring Pac-Man inspired cocktails, and an ice cream sundae bar featuring Fallon’s signature “Tonight Dough” flavor from Ben & Jerry’s.

Chef Hollingsworth appeared on an episode of The Tonight Show last November that saw Fallon and The Roots’ Tariq Trotter go head-to-head in a “gourmet chain challenge.” (Fallon lost to Trotter in the Hollingsworth-judged competition, but one imagines he’ll fare better with this new pizza creation.)
