Jalen Brunson has the key to city. Studio 8H, however, apparently requires something else.
The Knicks star puts his ceremonial key to the test in a new teaser for Saturday Night Live’s Season 52 premiere, which Brunson will host this weekend.
After running into cast member Ben Marshall, Brunson reveals there’s only one door he really wants the key to open: “Saturday Night Live.”
It does not.
What follows are a series of increasingly desperate attempts by Brunson to get inside, with the reigning Finals MVP eventually resorting to considerably less ceremonial methods—including a sledgehammer and a chainsaw—before Marshall sets him straight.
Brunson is set to make his SNL hosting debut when the show returns for its 52nd season Saturday, Sept. 26, with KATSEYE as musical guest.
