This week’s episode of Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney has everything: two comics, a Jackass, an HR exec… and blindfolds?
Netflix show officially announced the show’s Episode 5 lineup this morning, the headliner being none other than Mulaney’s SNL Stefon collaborator Bill Hader, who was much missed at February’s SNL50 celebration. It will be Hader’s second visit to the Everybody’s Live set following a giggle-filled guest shot last May during the show’s initial six day run.
Also joining in on the fun will be comedian Chelsea Peretti (Brooklyn Nine Nine), Johnny Knoxville, HR executive and employee coach Catie Maillard, and musical guest Bartees Strange.
That much is confirmed.
But in a video posted to Mulaney’s social accounts late week (below), Mulaney offered a preview of what else was on the rundown for the show this week, with the planned topic at that time being “Getting Fired” (which would make sense with an HR expert joining the panel).

Mulaney suggested in his post that if they can get each of the show’s guests to agree to it ahead of time, this week’s episode might also be “blindfold night”–a successor of sorts to last year’s sunglasses night, which saw everyone on the show’s panel (and the audience) wear sunglasses throughout the show.
Also on the rundown (at least as it appeared on Mulaney’s social channels Friday night): a recurring bit called “writers’ room crib cam,” a visit with Cheetos mascot Chester Cheetah (played by Emmy, Grammy and Tony winning actor André De Shields?!) and a filmed segment with Bubbles Jackson, which may or may not refer to Michael Jackson’s one-time pet chimpanzee, who now lives at The Center for Great Apes, a sanctuary in Wauchula, Florida.
Tune in to see which (if any) of the above make it to this week’s show when it streams live on Netflix this Wednesday night at 10pm ET / 7pm PT.
