Dulcé Sloan to Host The Daily Show Tues-Thurs This Week

Her first week behind The Daily Show desk was cut short by the start of the writer’s strike last May, but Dulcé Sloan is finally returning to guest host the show this week, picking up where Jon Stewart leaves off tonight.

Nine weeks into the show’s 29th season, so far Jordan Klepper, Desi Lydic, Michael Kosta and Ronny Chieng have each taken turns hosting the show’s Tues-Thurs episodes.

Tuesday’s episode will be Sloan’s third time hosting The Daily Show. After her planned week-long stint last May was pre-empted by the Writer’s Strike, she returned to the desk for one night in November.

Comedy Central announced Sloan’s guest lineup Monday morning.

On Tuesday she’ll welcome standup star Mayan Lopez, who co-stars with her father George Lopez on the NBC sitcom Lopez Vs Lopez.

Her guest Wednesday will be Orlando Bloom. The British actor will be promoting his new adventure docuseries, To The Edge,

And on Thursday country singer–songwriter Brittney Spencer will join Sloan to promote her new album “My Stupid Life.”

Sloan is currently a senior correspondent for The Daily Show. She’s been with the show since 2017.

I’m pretty sure that Brittney Spencer will be on THURSDAY’s show since TDS doesn’t do a Friday show.
